The single day, one-track conference is dedicated to showcasing the latest trends, innovations, and breakthroughs in the ever-evolving field of software development. Whether you’re an experienced developer or just starting your programming journey, Devmoot offers a unique platform for learning, networking, and exploring the cutting-edge technologies shaping the future. Devmoot is produced and hosted by KnoxDevs, a grassroots 501c3 organization.

Why the name “Devmoot”?

Moot. noun. an assembly of the people in early England exercising political, administrative, and judicial powers.

Entmoot In Lord of the Rings, was the name for a meeting of the Ents of Fangorn Forest, said to be a rare occasion in the later days of the Third Age. The Moot was held by tradition at a dell in the Forest known as Derndingle and became was a significant event in the War of the Ring.

Folkmoot is a gathering of many cultures in Waynesville, NC that leverages music, dance, arts and education to offer live events, classes, workshops and festivals.
